Beside Wasaga beach you will find Northwinds Beach, Council Beach, Sunset Point Beach, Sauble Beach and several other popular beaches.

  Sailing in Collingwood
Deep water marina, operated by Southwinds Marina 9:00 to 6:00 daily, provides 115 slips, and 24-hour security service. It also provides boat launch, water, hydro, gas and diesel fuel, washroom and laundry facilities, and pump-out. At Northwinds Beach on Georgian Bay near the entrance to Blue Mountain Road from highway 26 is a favourite summertime spot. This portion of Georgian Bay is known throughout Canada and North America as one of the best places to windsurf.

  Skiing in Collingwood
Experience the beautiful Blue Mountains, home to Ontario's Largest Ski Area, rising proudly from the azure waters of Georgian Bay. You can also enjoy cross-country skiing, and downhill skiing is in the area. All information you will find here when you arrive.

  Indoor Swimming
Cranberry Resort offers three heated pools, one in the Inn and two outdoor pools. The indoor pool is open daily 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and features a natural salt water filtration system. The salt level is 0.5% (sea water is 3.5%) which offers many health benefits. The outdoor adults-only pool is located at the Golf Clubhouse, and the family pool is located at the Rec Centre.

  Tennis Courts available
Enjoy excellent tennis courts at the resort as well. That's another popular activity that many are asking about. You can even take lessons as well, ask for more at the resort.

  Horseback Riding
Nice clean paths are just near by for you to enjoy horseback riding. There are several pony rides and horseback trail rides. Horseback riding programs available as well.

  Hiking
Get out, get hiking! For beginners and for experienced hikers. Some hiking loops take about three hours which are up to 10 kilometers. One of the best known are Gibraltar Sideroad kinking route. Just come up and enjoy excellent hiking on the world famous Bruce Trail, located nearby.

  Cave Exploring
Explore a labyrinth of caves and crevices while you reside at the condo. Explore the hidden natural fortress which sheltered the Petun people from their enemies. Some of these caves are so deep and cold that snow and ice often remain here for a long time. A must see while you are here.

This area of Georgian Bay is really nature rich where some parts still might not have been fully explored. But besides that nature attracts many visitors, social activities are well known here as well, such as jazz festivals, concerts, lifegurad competitions, and many others.
